Studied design at the Eina School of Art and Design after completing a course at the Barcelona School of Architecture. Daniel Ayuso began his professional career at the Taula de Disseny and Summa Comunicació studios, where he worked on corporate identity projects. In 1992 he started his own studio, Sexto with José Luis Merino, where he worked with clients such as Fundació Tàpies, San Miguel, Emi, Grupo Planeta, David Valls, Galería Toni Tàpies, Fundació "la Caixa", Centre Cultural Tecla Sala and Virgin, among others. In 2001 he signed on as Creative Director at Clase Bcn Studio (founded by Claret Serrahima) with the idea of creating a younger and more multidisciplinary structure. His work involved corporate identity, packaging, fashion and publishing projects for clients as diverse as Pedro García, Casa Asia, the Ajuntament de Barcelona, Eina, Pedro García, Arquia Caja de Arquitectos, Teixidors, Galeria Toni Tàpies, the Ministry of Culture of the Catalonian Government, Alícia/Ferran Adrià, Institut Ramon Llull, Women'secret, Levi's, Palau de la Música and Arts Santa Mònica. Ayuso’s work has been recognised with the Laus and ADC*E awards. Besides his professional and teaching work, he participates in conferences and as a juror for international design awards. Since 2004, he has been professor of Corporate Identity and Image for the Master’s in Business Communication at UPF/BSM.
Born in Barcelona in 1979, Ainhoa Nagore graduated in Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing in 2001 from the Universitat Ramon Llull before starting her professional career as art director with the advertising agencies Dayax, Euro RSCG and *S,C,P,F. In February 2007 she joined ruiz+company, where she became involved in graphic design and undertook projects related to the fashion industry while collaborating with internationally known photographers and directors like Terry Richardson, Mario Sorrenti and Johan Renck. Nagore has worked with clients such as Tous, Camper, Puig, BMW, Canal+, MACBA, Medwinds, Vanity Fair Lingerie and Finger in the Nose, on projects ranging from advertising campaigns to corporate imaging and packaging. She has won awards for her work from various competitions including Red Dot Awards, ADC*E, European Design Awards, El Sol, Laus and Creative Review Annual. Since 2013 she has worked on an independent basis from her own studio on creative consulting, art direction and graphic design projects for Spanish and international clients.
Graduated in design and multimedia. He has worked as a designer and art director in several studios and ad agencies in Barcelona. In 2004 he joined the team of herraizsoto&co, where he is currently creative director. He has worked with various universities since 2007 in masters’ and postgraduate programmes as well as giving talks and workshops on creativity, communication and art direction. He has been involved in online and offline communication projects that have been awarded prizes in national and international competitions such as Laus, Cannes, D&AD, ADC*E and El Sol.
Graduated in Psychology knowing that people are the most powerful means of communication. She supplemented her education with studies related to team leadership and communication abilities, areas in which she worked for the first few years after graduation. Her professional life took a turn in 2002 when she began working at Base Design and, thanks to a great team of professionals, she learned all aspects of design. Afterwards, Olga Pérez spent almost three years with the Carlitos y Patricia Brand Boutique. She has now spent fourteen years in the world of graphic design and art direction and currently works as Project Director at Bisgràfic. She supplements her time by teaching classes at universities such as Elisava and Escuela Pau Gargallo.
Born in Esplugues de Llobregat in 1978. After a year studing Telecomunication Engineer at La Salle University, he leave the studies and start design at BAU University. During that period he was combining their studies working as a graphic and interactive designer in two agencies, EFEBEI y CSP. In 2004 he found their own Studio, Coated, that little by little has been specialized in a creative digital agency, and makes collaborations with other advertising agencies like Euro RSCG, Grey Barcelona, Contrapunto, Doubleyou y SCPF*. He has work in projects for brands like Tous, Reebok, Gas Natural, Seat, Nokia, VollDamm, Magro Cardona, Letsbonus, BBC, Editorial Andamio, Club de Creativos, and many others. Some of their digital design works have been awarded with Laus Awards and y The Lovie Awards. In 2013 he renew their Brand concept of design with a new name: Sr. y Sra. Wilson, focusing on branding concept by branding design, art director/creativity, digital design and editorial design.
Alejandro is a creative strategist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a vast experience in youth culture.
He has a high interest in analysing and understanding the current social and cultural movements to help brands and organisations to contribute to the present/future society.
In the past eight years, he has moved from graphic design to strategy and creating processes for creative teams. He started his career at Base Design and was a former partner at The Pop Up Agency, a nomadic consultancy agency that led him to travel and work around the world.
All these experiences and projects have helped him understand that he is a person that falls for big visions and challenges. He is excited by goals he can fight for and make a difference. He loves coming up with new ideas, always rooting for a more forward-thinking society.
At the moment, Alejandro works as a freelancer helping creative teams reach higher goals; he teaches about creative methods at Elisava and manages Triggers, an ideate generation tool he created.
Historiadora del diseño, Doctora por la Universidad de Barcelona, licenciada en Geografía e Historia, en Comunicación Audiovisual, en Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas. Es profesora de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Barcelona y miembro del grupo de investigación consolidado GRACMON. Ha ejercido la docencia en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, la Escuela Elisava, la Universidad de Valladolid y el Istituto Europeo di Design de Madrid —donde fue Directora Académica de la Escuela de Masters—, entre otros centros.
Es directora de la revista online Monográfica, (Premio Ciudad de Barcelona 2012) y entre 2001 y 2004, dirigió la revista Visual.
Es fundadora y ha sido directora, entre 2004 y 2016, del Congreso Internacional de Tipografía de Valencia.
Ha comisariado exposiciones, organizado cursos e impartido conferencias en un buen número de centros e instituciones. Es autora de numerosas publicaciones sobre diseño entre las que puede destacarse el libro Diseñar Hoy, editado por Paidós. En 2011, recibió el Premio Gràffica y en 2015 ha sido galardonada con el Laus de Honor, otorgado por ADG-FAD.
Graphic designer. After working for other studios, he opened his own studio in 2014: Albert Romagosa Design Cabinet, where they work in all kinds of communication projects for Spanish and international clients. In addition to his studio work, Albert teaches at the Elisava and IED design schools.
Ivan Serrano Regol
Creative designer specialising in conceptualisation, strategy and digital product and services development. With more than 17 years of experience in digital media, he likes delving further into user experience design (UX) and design research methodology. He has spent the last 15 years working for Televisió de Catalunya as a designer, contributing creative value while also focusing on interactive projects for the user. Serrano is director of the Master’s in User Experience at KSCHOOL and professor in the graduate and masters’ programmes in the area of design at Elisava, UOC, UPC and IEBS.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Desing from the Eina University of Arts and Design (2006), she completed her studies with a stage at La Cambre (École nationale supérieure des arts visuels) and working at Gráfica studio. In 2007 she joined ESIETE, directed by Javier Pereda. This graphic design and creative agency has won many national awards like Laus Awards, and international awards like the ADCE.
The ambition of a more global vision of this profession, pushed her to take part as a co-founder of paseodegracia.com and to teach in Idep School a subject about identity and illustration. Moreover, she is part of this steering committee.
Born in Palma, Mallorca in 1972, he studied illustration in the Escola d’Arts i Oficis in Palma, Mallorca and graphic design in the Escola Massana School and the Parsons School. He combines graphic design with various type design projects. Jerez has received Laus awards for the Dinamo and Suite type designs, certificates of type design excellence from ATypI for the Latina and Onserif & Onsans type designs and certificates of type design excellence given by the Type Directors Club for the Suite and Quixote type design. He has performed typographic identity projects for the Government of Catalonia (Emergencies 112 and Arts Santa Mónica). The Quixote type design has been awarded first prize in the international type design competition “Tipo-Q”, organised by the Fundación Centro Regional de Diseño de Castilla-La Mancha to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Quixote. Currently he juggles managing the graphic design studio Extra! with teaching type design at the Eina School of Art and Design.
Josep Dols nació en Barcelona en 1987. Estudió diseño gráfico en la Escola Massana. Tras pasar por los estudios Enric Jardí y Marnich Associates y cursar el Máster en diseño gráfico en Elisava, entró a trabajar en Mucho, con Marc Català. Actualmente, trabaja como diseñador gráfico en Clase Bcn.
Architect, communication and cultural manager. He founded Q9 Magazine platform in 2012. He has worked for many cultural institutions and projects such as Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) or the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC). Nowadays he works in the Association of Art Directors and Graphic Designers (ADG-FAD) where he is communications supervisor and manages all the annual activities of the association.
Graduated in Journalism from UAB and in History from UB. She joined FAD in 2008 as a content coordinator for the Terminal B Project. She worked as coordinator for the ADCE Awards and as production assistant at ADG-FAD. After having worked as a communication supervisor for two years, she is currently Project Manager and coordinates activities, including the ADG Talks and the ADG Laus Awards.
