It’s difficult to imagine a project that better represents the meaning of a Grand Laus than the winner of this year’s edition. The Laus celebrates the creative collaborationthat arises between a client and a designer, which is why the trophy is made from two separate pieces that fit perfectly together. Javier Jaén and The New York Times Magazine, The New York Times Magazine and Javier Jaén. Two piecesthat fit perfectly together to create their own language, surprising, original and brave. But above all thGrand Laus goes to a project that makes a strong defence of the power of ideas and of intelligent communication.
