Secret Garden

Briefing

Since 1846, Vlisco has been designing and manufacturing high quality Dutch Wax. Vlisco invited us to direct an animated film that would highlight the details of their designs and make people dream.

Proposta

We created a story in which the viewer could feel like an observer of these wild fabrics living in a secret garden. For each specific moment of the day – morning, noon, night – we gave them different behaviors.

Aportació

The biggest challenge was to create all the different behaviours of the fabrics and to find unexpected and artistic ways to express them.

Producció

This project was initially made for Vlisco’s Instagram. 
During the developement, Vlisco team was so thilled with the results that they decided to air the film on Pan-African TV channels as a tribute to their core audience.
