Adidas NEMEZIZ 19 Agility Installation

Briefing

For the launch of the new Adidas Nemeziz boots London based agency Iris wanted to create an sculpture showcasing agility in football. They challenged us to use the iconic Adidas player Messi to create a unique sculpture.

Proposta

Turn the three-dimensional trace of Messi’s body position during one of its most iconic plays into a sculpture made of the same fabric Nemeziz boots are made from. A real size translation of all the play into an sculpture.

Aportació

The result is a parametrical shape showcasing the agility, speed, movement and direction: a visualization of one of the Messi most iconic goals.

Producció

We retrieved the volum of Messi’s run by using 3D software to analyse & create a 3D trail of his body during the play. This model was sliced into 400 vertical cross-sections that supported the Nemeziz bands to be stretched across.
