FILMAR en América Latina
Briefing
Design of the visual identity for the 2020 edition of the movie festival “FILMAR en América Latina”, that is the most important festival dedicated to Latin American cinema and cultures in Switzerland.
Proposta
The visual identity is based on the Mayan languages, a means of transmitting knowledge and information.
The glyphs selected represent hands which here refer to actions closely linked to cinema as framing, shooting or even composition.
Aportació
Glyphs with their large sizes are highly visible in public space, powerful, easily recognizable and act as a rallying sign.
