Icarus Complex

Briefing

Being confronted with the climate crisis, Icarus challenge was to be appeal to a mainstream audience while being part of the wave of indie magazines. The aesthetics should work at the service of the content.

Proposta

To give the right voice to the content the most efficient way was to measure graphically the tone we should give thought the typography, photography and illustration.

Producció

In the printing process the use of plates with a low use of chemicals and the use of environmentally friendly raw materials was mandatory to be certified in FSC and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.
