Briefing

Design of a book-object with a strong character for a restaurant with two Michelin stars, located in a small municipality of Alicante. Sincere cuisine linked to the territory. Tell the story of a family project that was born 40 years ago.

Proposta

Raw book with an outer box that works as covers. Uncovered binding to emphasize the nine height formats that create the stair effect referring to the name of the restaurant «L’Escaleta». Each heigh level is one of the logo characters.

Aportació

The unique format, complexity in the binding and distribution of the contents. Simplicity of materials emulating their sincere and humble kitchen.

Producció

Production of 2500 units. Distribution through the publishing house and the restaurant. Rustic binding with black thread. Exterior box case printed with 600 g. matt finish. Interior pages printed on 140 g. matt volume paper.
