Briefing

For this book, the largest printed survey of Linder’s artworks to date, we were challenged to come up with a design that subverted the traditional fine art monograph format and celebrated her provocative, colourful and politically-charged collages..

Proposta

We developed the book’s structure and selected its contents working closely with the artist. It incorporates physical interventions like die-cut pages, paper changes, trimmed sections and other details to bring the humour of the work to life.

This book was created through close collaboration with the artist Linder, and uses visual and material devices to complement and enhance her work.

Producció

Flush cut case-bound book with blind debossed cover, cut-short pages, tip-ins, die-cut pages and greyscale sections. The images in the book were painstakingly reproduced following close dialogue with the artist and her gallery representatives.
