Carabanchel Distrito Cultural: Tejiendo Comunidad

Briefing

Redesign of the identity for the Carabanchel Cultural District booth at the San Isidro Festival 2025. The project aimed to create a distinctive and recognizable presence aligned with the neighborhood’s values and festive spirit, developing a flexible visual system adaptable to spatial intervention, merchandising, and multiple graphic applications.

Proposta

The identity translates neighborhood memory into a graphic language inspired by cross-stitch, referencing craftsmanship and collective labor. The carnation—symbol of the festival—emerges through optical construction, as red modules interact with white backgrounds to reveal pink from a distance. The system integrates festive color palettes, modular repetition, and scalable applications.

Aportació

Activates graphic design as a civic language capable of shaping collective identity and spatial belonging in the neighborhood.

Producció

Development of a complete identity system including branding, merchandising, signage, printed materials, large-format textiles, and digital assets for social media. Production direction and on-site installation shaped the booth as a cohesive spatial intervention, conceived as a scalable and adaptable system for future editions.
